How do I create a new clean-up site in AMDI?

The Apps dynamic mapping feature creates a new site.

Open the AMDI app and log in with your registered AMDI account (you must be logged in to create sites or upload data).

Download the app on Google Play, the Apple App Store, or you can view our Web App.

  1. From the home screen, select "Add a collection."

  2. When prompted to select a site, type in your site name. If your site is displayed in the drop-down, you can select it and contribute data to the existing site. If your site does not automatically appear in the drop-down, continue writing the site name and drop a pin on the map at the clean-up location.

  3. A member of the data team will approve the site once the collection is uploaded, and the site will then become available for automatic selection in the app.

  4. Tangaroa Blue may review or tidy site names/locations if duplicates or unclear entries are found.
